主任デザイナーのジェフ（Geoff）によると、バティストはGoatsのよいカウンターとなるヒーローらしい。Goatsよりもカウンターでより機能すると考えている模様。
さらにOWLでDPSプレイヤーがブリギッテといったヒーローでのプレーを強いられている現状については、PTRの大きな変更はそういったことも考慮に入れているとコメント。
